About Me:

I have worked in IT since 2004 as a Sr Tech Analyst/Systems Administrator/Network Administrator/IT Consultant/etc. I have been “obsessed” with coffee since early 2013; a trip to Italy being the primary catalyst to my obsession. You can find me in several coffee forums under the name JavaBuzz.

I have home-roasted on a Huky 500 roaster since early 2015. During that time, I won a small and friendly roasting competition where 10 contestants roasted the same bean on the same roaster.

I love to experiment with and learn more about coffee, and almost daily you can find me trying some new idea when roasting, brewing, or pulling a shot of espresso.
